Professional Development that works for you!
The YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral offers a wide variety of training opportunities to ensure that early childhood professionals can find sessions that fit into their busy schedules. We regularly offer Ohio Approved trainings throughout the week, in the evening, and on Saturdays in all of the counties that we serve.
Professionals can find professional development opportunities scheduled in their area by searching available trainings on the Ohio Professional Registry (OCCRRA.org). You can use the tabs at the top of this page to view the trainings currently available at your local YWCA CCR&R office.
The YWCA CCR&R also offers private training for providers who wish to host our professional development specialists at a time and location that meets the needs of their staff. Click on the Private Training tab above for more information.
Private Training
If you are interested in scheduling a private training for your program please review our associated fees and available trainings by clicking on the images below. Then scroll down to the links below to complete the private training request form for your area.
Please note that training dates are dependent upon the availability of YWCA CCR&R staff who are able to train the specific trainings that you request. Our schedules fill up quickly and we cannot guarantee that staff will be available on your requested date. For the best possible scheduling results please submit your request at least 2 months prior to the preferred training date.

Private Training Packages
We want to help you make your private training experiences more intentional and help support you in implementing what you have learned. We have put together a few packages that include multiple trainings, along with intensive technical assistance to help you meet your goals. CDA
The YWCA Child Care Resource and Referral is a CDA Gold Standard training organization! To apply for a CDA course, or for more information, please call your local YWCA CCR&R office:

The Council is extending the deadline for the CDA Renewal Amnesty Program to June 1, 2021. This program allows anyone with a CDA® credential expiration date
as far back as January 1, 2010, an opportunity to complete the renewal process and make their credential active again.

Professional Development Opportunities
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of the YWCA CCR&R’s in-person trainings have transitioned to live online training to support you in meeting training hour requirements. Below are all of the online trainings that we have scheduled. Please register for these on occrra.org.
