POWER Ohio wants to reward you for continuing your education

Effective Monday, October 1st staff employed by licensed programs in the state of Ohio who are not rated in Step Up To Quality will have the opportunity to participate in the POWER Ohio program. This program was developed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the Ohio Department of Education, and the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association. POWER Ohio provides wage supplements for Assistant Teachers, Lead Teachers, Administrators, and Family Child Care Providers to reward individuals for completing higher education courses while staying employed with their early childhood program.
